THIS IS A VERY GOOD+ MONO UK FIRST PRESSING COPY OF THE 1967 BEATLES CLASSIC "SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL RED AND WHITE INNER SLEEVE AND INTACT CUT-OUT CARD.

THE VINYL IS IN VERY GOOD PLAYABLE CONDITION AND PLAYS WITHOUT SKIPS, STICKS OR LOUD POPS. VISUALLY THERE ARE NO DEEP OR SIGNIFICANT MARKS OR SCUFFS, AND THE VINYL STILL HAS A DEEP SHINY LUSTRE. HOWEVER IT HAS CLEARLY BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES AND THERE ARE LIGHT HAIRLINES ON BOTH SIDES WHICH PREVENT A HIGHER GRADING, BUT THIS IS STILL A VERY GOOD ORIGINAL COPY OF A ROCK CLASSIC.

THERE ARE TWO MINOR AUDIO FAULTS:
A MINOR CLICK FOR A FEW REVOLUTIONS AT THE START OF SIDE ONE DURING THE RUN-IN AND THE OPENING BACKGROUND AUDIENCE NOISE, BUT IT DISAPPEARS AS SOON AS THE RECORD STARTS PLAYING THE FIRST TRACK, "SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND".
THERE IS ONE OTHER MINOR CLICK RIGHT AT THE END OF SIDE TWO TOWARDS THE END OF THE LONG FADE-OUT OF THE MULTIPLE PIANO FINAL CHORD OF "DAY IN THE LIFE".
NEITHER OF THESE FAULTS ARE SERIOUS OR OBTRUSIVE AND THE REST OF THE VINYL PLAYS PERFECTLY.

SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+THE GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS STILL BRIGHT AND SHINY. THERE IS NO LAMINATE LIFTING ANYWHERE, . THE SEAMS ARE ALL INTACT WITH VIRTUALLY NO EDGE WEAR (SEE PHOTOS). THE INNER GATEFOLD IS UNSPOILED WITH BRIGHT VIVID COLOURS, AND FLIPBACKS AT THE TOP. THE SPINE HAS SOME IS SLIGHT  SCUFFING ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT IT REMAINS READABLE.

THE SGT PEPPER CUT-OUTS SHEET IS THE ORIGINAL, WITH NO MARKS, WRITING OR DAMAGE AND INCLUDES THE PETER BLAKE SIGNATURE.

THE YELLOW AND BLACK LABELS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, WITH SIDE TWO BEARING THE "KT" TAX MARK. THERE ARE SPINDLE TRACES ON BOTH SIDES BUT OTHERWISE NO DAMAGE.

THE INNER SLEEVE IS THE ORIGINAL RED AND WHITE "PSYCHEDELIC" PAPER BAG WITH NO WRITING, SPLITS OR TEARS, AND "PATENTS APPLIED FOR"  PRINTED ON ONE SIDE. (THE RECORD WILL BE SHIPPED IN A SEPARATE INNER TO PREVENT SEAM SPLITS).

YOU WILL EASILY FIND CHEAPER COPIES OF THIS CLASSIC, BUT FEW FIRST PRESSINGS ARE COMPLETE AND RELATIVELY UNDAMAGED AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.
