THE RECORDS

THE LABELS

THE DARK RED UNBOXED LABELS ARE IN MAGNIFICENT CONDITION. NO STAINS OR HANDLING MARKS. THE COLOUR STRETCHES FULLY INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE. THE SILVER TYPEFACE AND LOGOS ARE ALL UNRUBBED AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. THERE ARE 4-5 BARELY VISIBLE SMALL SPIDER LINES CLOSE TO THE SPINDLE HOLE SHOWING JUST HOW LITTLE THIS ALBUM HAS BEEN NEAR A TURNTABLE.

THE VINYL

THIS HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL IS IN SUPERB CONDITION, REALLY GLOSSY AND NOT DULL LIKE MOST WORN OUT COPIES. IN DAY LIGHT THE VINYL LOOKS TO BE TOTALLY FLAWLESS, AND EVEN UNDER INTENSE ILLUMINATION ALL I COULD MAKE OUT WAS JUST A FEW LITTLE WISPY HAIRLINES AND A COUPLE OF MINUSCULE MARKS

PLAYING THE RECORD

I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A FANTASTIC COLLECTIBLE VINYL, THAT YOU SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. I HAVE THEREFORE INVESTED IN THE SOFTWARE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DO JUST THAT.

I HAVE RECORDED THE ENTIRE ALBUM FROM START TO FINISH AS I AM DOING WITH ALL MY LISTINGS, AS I AM CONVINCED THAT BIDDERS WILL LOVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO HEAR THE RECORD BEFORE LAYING A BID. THIS IS A SERVICE I AM DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO OFFER MY CUSTOMERS. I HAVE ALSO RECORDED THE ALBUM IN MONO SO THAT IT CAN BE HEARD AS WAS ORIGINALLY INTENDED

I CANNOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW AMAZED I WAS WHEN I PLACED THE STYLUS ONTO THE VINYL AND GOT NEAR SILENCE!!!, THEN THE MUSIC STARTED AND THE FIRST THING THAT BECAME OBVIOUS WAS THAT THERE WAS NO DISTORTION TO THIS CRISP, LOUD MONO REPRODUCTION WHATSOEVER. THE CLARITY AND LOUDNESS OF THIS PRESS IS JUST OUTSTANDING

THIS LP PLAYS WITHOUT ANY BACKGROUND CRACKLES, OR LOUD CLICKS

THERE IS THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF BARELY AUDIBLE STATIC HEARD ONLY IN A FEW OF THE LINKING GROOVES

I CAN'T EVEN SAY THAT I HEARD ANY LITTLE DUST POPS THROUGH THE PLAYTHROUGH

A TOUCH OF VINYL NOISE AS THE TRACK RUNS INTO THE DEAD WAX AT THE END

I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO GRADE THIS INCREDIBLE RECORD MINT MINUS

PLEASE TAKE A GOOD LISTEN FOR YOURSELF AND YOU BE THE JUDGE AGAINST YOUR PERSONAL STANDARDS

THE SLEEVE

LAMINATED FRONT SURFACE, FLIPBACK NON LAMINATED REAR SURFACE. MACNEILL SINGLE SLEEVE

I HAVE ALREADY MENTIONED JUST HOW THIN THESE EARLY STONES ALBUM SLEEVES ARE. WHEN YOU CONSIDER THE QUALITY SLEEVES THAT THE BEATLES ALBUMS CAME IN IT, MAKE YOU WONDER WHY THEY DECIDED TO PUT WHAT WOULD BE VERY POPULAR RECORDS IN SLEEVES THAT COULDN'T HANDLE THE CONSTANT REMOVAL AND INSERTION OF THE VINYL. VIRTUALLY EVERY COPY YOU WILL COME ACROSS WITH HAVE SERIOUS CREASE LINES, THUMB LINES CLOSE TO THE OPENING EDGE, RING WEAR, NUMEROUS LAMINATE LINES NEAR THE SPINE, AND A VERY DIRTY AND OFTEN STAINED REAR SURFACE

SO STARTING WITH THE FRONT SURFACE. THE FIRST THING TO SAY IS THAT THE LAMINATE STILL HAS A HEALTHY SHEEN TO IT

THERE ARE AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES SOME LIGHT LAMINATE CREASE LINES.ONE LARGISH ONE ACROSS THE TOP RIGHT CORNER. ONE RUNNING DOWN FROM THE TOP EDGE NEAR THE LEFT CORNER, AND ONE ON THE SPINE THAT RUNS UPWARDS TO THE TOP EDGE

THERE ARE 12 SMALL LAMINATE LINES AGAINST THE SPINE. FOUR ALONG THE TOP EDGE. THREE ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE, AND TWO TINY THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE

THERE IS NO RINGWEAR JUST A LIGHT SHADOW OF RECORD SHAPE

THE TOP EDGE HAS A COUPLE OF SPECKS OF LAMINATE FLAKE, AND A PIN PRICK OF RUB TO THE CORNER TIP ENDS. THE BOTTOM EDGE IS PRISTINE

THE SPINE IS ONCE AGAIN FULLY LAMINATED, NO PEEL OR FLAKE, AND EVERY LETTER OF THE BLACK TYPEFACE IS PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. ONE VERY LIGHT FINGER TO THUMB IMPRESSION , AND THE TAPERED ENDS ARE 100% UNRUBBED. THE WHITENESS UNDER THE LAMINATE HAS BROWNED WITH AGE

THE REAR SURFACE IS STILL QUITE WHITE WITH SOME NATURAL HANDLING AND AGEING. THE FLIPBACKS ARE ALSO IN PRISTINE CONDITION, BEING COMPLETELY STUCK DOWN AND NOT HAVING AND NICKS OR DAMAGE TO THEM AT ALL OTHER THAN A FEW LAMINATE LINES VISIBLE ON THEM

THERE IS NO RING WEAR TO THIS SURFACE EITHER

THE ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE IS INCLUDED AND IS IN EXCEPTIONAL UNSPLIT CONDITION. A SMALL NICK TO ONE SIDE OF THE DIE CUT HOLE

FOR ME THIS SLEEVE GRADES EX+

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BID IF YOU CHOSE TO GO FOR IT
